I have been to this restaurant twice now, and I have to say I couldn't be happier that it has opened in my neighborhood. Every single dish we ordered is very flavorful and perfectly prepared. The chef even came to our table to check on our meal and make sure we were doing okay!
The decor, ambience and general vibe is cosy, fantastic and fun; The BABA GHANOUSH was DELICIOUS, And the BEST DISH OF THE NIGHT: the LAMB FREEKEH! I am a non-drinker but one more note: my mother thought one of their two recommended lebanese beers was a perfect complement to the myriad of dishes.
You know it's a good sign when there's a middle eastern Chef in the kitchen. BIG plus! I'm middle eastern so I know authentic middle eastern food when I smell it. This place is definitely cramped.. But the food was nothing short of 5 stars! Highly recommended.
Passed by this new restaurant on Saturday noon. We were trying to find a good place for desserts. The doors were closed but the owner invited us in. We introduced ourselves and the minute he knew we were looking for a dessert place he insisted on serving us a treat on the house. He went back and filled a bawl of rice pudding (Rez B Halib) a typical Lebanese sweet dish. That taste exceeded my expectations.I am a Lebanese food fanatic and I can tell you that It is the most authentic Lebanese food in the city ! It's gramma's food ! The details in the decoration and setup will blow your mind ! I will definitely be back !
